In this section, we explore a novel approach for crafting eutectic high entropy alloys (EHEAs) that exhibit both elevated strength and ductility. These alloys have been formulated through a combination of techniques involving thermodynamic simulation and practical experimentation. Furthermore, enhancements in the mechanical characteristics of EHEAs have been achieved by fostering a composite microstructure. This microstructure encompasses a eutectic arrangement featuring a solid solution phase of either FCC or BCC, as well as intermetallic or bimodal eutectics composed of two distinct eutectic structures. Many EHEAs have been designed and developed by integrated approaches. Numerous researchers have extensively investigated the hot deformation behavior to comprehend microstructural stability at elevated temperatures. The identification of optimal hot workability regions involves the creation of contour plots utilizing various model parameters, and these findings are subsequently validated through experimental results. Therefore, novel EHEAs with unique phase equilibria will open up new avenues in engineering the microstructure for design of high temperature materials.
