Thrombus formation and detachment under varying shear conditions significantly impact clinical outcomes such as embolism or occlusion. This study presents a comparative analysis of thrombus properties formed under low and high shear rates using a microfluidic chip with a circular cross-section and stenosis. We analyzed detachment time (DT), detached thrombus area (DTA), and bonding strength, revealing distinct differences between sparse, weak thrombus in low shear conditions and dense, stable thrombus in high shear environments. These findings emphasize the importance of shear-dependent analysis for understanding thrombus stability and cardiovascular risk.
